Medical Care

Many clients who come for IOP services need basic medical care. Although we have a psychiatrist who looks at every case and makes recommendations for treatment and medications, many clients do not have primary care providers to address other issues. We have relationships with multiple health care clinics in and around our facility who will provide services to our clients. During intake, we set them up for primary care appointments and psychiatric appointments when warranted. We refer individuals for Medically Assisted Treatment (MAT) when needed. 

​We help coordinate Medicaid transportation when needed. Overall health is part of the long-term recovery process, which is why we want our clients to have the treatment they need for medical conditions that affect overall health. We even work with the LA Dept. of Health to identify various dental service providers as dental care is an issue with many of our clients.
